This beautiful kitchen reflects its modern style not only in the function and design but also on the adventurous color palette used throughout the whole apartment. It was a total success to come from a tiny outdated apartment, to a completely open floor plan with all the luxury and functionality of a contemporary space.
The success of this project was the result of a new addition to a historic house, making the kitchen the heart of the home of a beautiful young family with a modern style warmed up by gold and wooden details. We took advantage of the vertical space to add as much storage as possible while keeping the hood as the central point. The island adds a warm touch and connects the kitchen with the family room in a delicate way.
This is a perfect example that you don't need to move to another house to enjoy a completely new dynamic in your kitchen space. The incredible amount of storage available on the tall, left unit made it possible to liberate the rest of the working areas and accomplish a light and fresh look.
The right-hand counter extends farther into the outside living area, integrating with the patio and allowing more functionality in the space.
